Micro-Clean™ is a concentrated combination of a natural organic dispersant and a bacteria mix that removes and bioremediates hydrocarbon contamination from any solid surfaces.

The dispersant removes the hydrocarbon by decreasing it's surface tension, thus forming microscopic spherical droplets. These microscopic droplets are quickly bioremediated by the bacteria due to their increased surface area. The digestion begins as soon as Micro-Clean™ is applied and continues after the product is washed from the surface. The final by-products are fatty-acids, water and CO2. Micro-Clean™ can be used on any solid surface and sand to quickly remediate short and long chained hydrocarbons such as grease, oil, fuel and hydraulic fluid.

Micro-Clean™ should first be diluted at the ratio of at least 20:1 with water. One gallon in water will clean approximately 500 sq ft of beach or rocks. The product is sprayed on with a low-pressure sprayer. Let it sit 5 minutes or so and then remove with a high-pressure sprayer. Anything washed down the sewer will only help to digest organics already in there.

  • Since all of the Micro-Clean™ components are naturally occurring, they are environmentally friendly. They will be reduced to normal background levels when the contamination (food source) is completely digested, or will remain active in soils, beneath leaking components, until the hydrocarbon material can be spent. The bacterial levels will then fade into a background situation.
