The MK8 Linesman® Hard Hat was designed for today's highest risk environments where high impact/ side impact situations are a concern, such as construction, mining, oil and gas, demolition, high pressure jetting, energy companies and certain emergency services like FEMA and USAR. The MK8 Evolution® meets the ANSI Z89.1-2009 standard for Type II impact protection. However, it is also the only industrial safety helmet in the world meeting and exceeding the new, tougher European standard EN14052.
