The Cool Medics™ Cooling Blanket has three layers of fabric that make up this blanket by combining hydrophilic fibers, fibrous batting core and thermally conductive lining. This cooling blanket is activated by soaking in water for 10 to 30 seconds and then gently wringing out excess water which creates the cooling effect that lasts up to eight hours. These blankets are used during recuperative breaks in activities when heat stress is a concern.
