The Mustang MSD560 is a butyl, nylon tri-laminate suit developed for surface rescue swimmers. This dry suit has been developed for use in extreme environments and is currently used aboard US Coast Guard Cutters, as standard equipment for surface rescue swimmers. In addition, the Rescue Swimmers Dry Suit is compatible with aircrew duties in most rotary wing aircraft.
Thermal performance of the MSD560, as with any dry suit, is dependent on the type and thickness of the undergarment worn.
